Matt Carns was born as Matthew Joseph Carns in Birmingham, Alabama. He was born on November 3rd, 1976, and has lead an exciting life, even as a young man. He studied History and Business Management at the University of Alaska, and also at the University of Alabama. The lessons learned there must have been useful on some level, because he has since gone on to become an incredible successful entrepreneur. The company he first formed was a start-up trucking business that he started when he was a mere twenty-one years old, named Maddox Transport.
In 1997, when Carns founded the business, it consisted of only one small moving van. However, the fleet would grow over the next five years to include five freightliners. This allowed Maddox Transport to expand and achieve a wider geographical reach, a larger client-base, and allowed them to move more product at once. The ability to deliver products from all over the Pacific Rim helped to expand Maddox Transport’s client-base dramatically. Maddox Transport was sold in 2001 because Matt Carns was re-locating to Denver, Colorado. Once in Denver, Carns was offered the chance to be Med1Online’s first sales manager. Selling Med1Online’s products gave him the chance to get familiar with the industry of medical equipment. This brief venture into the medical equipment industry turned out to be somewhat longer than expected.
In 2004 Carns went on to start his own medical equipment business. This business, named Trinity Medical Solutions consisted of just one employee, Matt Carns, and a lot of determination to achieve success. In just three short years, the staff had grown to sixteen other staffers. The company now boasts over $7,000,000 in annual sales of medical equipment. Trinity Medical Solutions create and sell surgical, cosmetic, and ophthalmic lasers internationally. Additionally, they sell high end diagnostic and pain management equipment to specialists in almost every field, including Plastic Surgery, General Practitioning, Chiropractic, Pain Management, Dermatology, and Neurology. The products are affordable for those who need then, and they are still just effective. The business world aside, Matt Carns like watching movies, bicycling, snow skiing, and spending time with friends and family.
